You are purchasing one pair of NOS-OEM brake shoes for all 1931-1952 model Harley-Davidson DL, RL & WL for the front brake and used on the rear brake for 1940 and earlier WL & RL models.  I believe as rear shoes these may have been used back to 1935 or possibly as early as 1931, that's my read anyhow.  Please double-check your own reference material to make certain.  OEM number is 4112-40 (old) 44402-40 (new).  These are genuine new old stock shoes, construction is cast iron with riveted on shoes.
