Vintage Czech Marionette Puppet
Theatre, Set of 5 Puppets,
They are 6” (15cm) tall.
Wooden body, legs and feet. Arms and legs are connected with elastic band.
Head and Hands are made of some mixture of gypsum or clay. Felt clothes,
hair and beard. Handmade is Czechoslovakia 1950-60s.
No marking, stickers, or
paper tags.
The set consists of King,
Princess, Devil, Witch and Grandmother (Old woman).
Three of them have an
original plastic bag. The Witch puppet has never been removed out, but bag is torn on top. All strings
are original. The total height with wire handle is 12-13”/ 30-35 cm.
Pre-owned by very gentle doll
collector, private collection, excellent condition, some unused or very gentle used. One chip
of king’s hand.
