This body scrub gently removes dead skin cells and gives the skin renewed vitality. When used regularly, it provides a stimulating effect and boosts skin tone. The line is dedicated to the "Flora Siberica", the 4-volume scientific opus of the German explorer Johann Georg Gmelin (1709-1755). It was published between 1747 and 1769, 2 volumes of which were published posthumously. In it, Gmelin describes 1178 species, 500 of which were previously unknown. 194 of them were provided with illustrations. Gmelin was chosen as one of three experts to participate in the 2nd Kamchatka expedition (1733-1743) of Vitus Bering. Together, they travelled across the Urals and Siberia to Yeniseisk. He described the location of the river Yenisei as the border between Asia and Europe and was present at the measurement of the lowest measured temperature in Yeniseisk. He finally arrived in Yakutsk alongside Bering in September 1736. Unfortunately, Gmelin's quarters burnt down on 8 November. His collections and notes on natural history were destroyed, as was part of his library. The following summer he tried to restore his collection of various species to compensate for the loss. His work "Flora Siberica" is based on his collections and observations.
