Vintage La Tosca Ivory White Accordion w/ Case Clean Baffles Made in Italy Antique

Estate sale attic find! 

Cool looking, smaller in size accordion with an ivory pearlized finish and red baffles.

We were told this piece had been sitting on the attic for many decades, the overall condition of the accordion and case reflects this.

The accordion shows surface scuffs, marks, dust and scratches all typical of age and use. The red baffles are surprisingly in very nice shape, check out the attached video for a quick accordion soundbite!

The leather strap is in rougher shape and shows some crumbling and distress, the plastic "La Tosca" nameplate has been lost to time and only some glue remnants remain.

The case in in rough shape, there is dirt and dust buildup and an overall moldy smell. This case will need to be professionally cleaned to restore it to its former glory.

As we place some of our items with film and television period productions (who value authentic patina, distress and age) we have left this piece in the original, as-found condition. The accordion and case could both all use a thorough cleaning if it is to be used and displayed in the home.

The accordion has the serial number B11079 etched into the surface, comes with everything pictured in the photos.

The case measures 15" x 14.5" x 8" when closed, the accordion is a little smaller and fits snugly inside.
