From the outdoor line "EXPEDITION" that started in the early 1990s, this new line incorporates materials and functions that are of higher quality and are conscious of their environmental impact to extend the life of the products, while at the same time updating the design. “EXPEDITION NORTH” is now available. The straps include fabric straps made from 100% recycled plastic and eco-leather produced with ECCO Leather's new DriTan(TM) technology, which minimizes the amount of waste water and chemicals used. Adopted. The windshield uses non-reflective coated sapphire glass for visibility, and the movement incorporates a solar function that stores electricity using sunlight. The chevron-shaped "EXPEDITION NORTH" logo engraved on the dial and the top of the crown was created by Draplin Design Co., a graphic design company famous for the notebook brand "Field Note" born in Chicago, USA.
