The pictures have translations from the notes from Chairman Mao to the reader. (plus others) I haven't seen these pages in any of the current offerings. Please note, this edition may very well be very special.
This book was a gift to me by a political leader in the province of Shaanxi Province in the city of Xi-an(she-ann). Xi-an is in central China and a beautiful city. The province is home of the world's largest pyramid.
It's also thehome of the Terra Cotta Warriers. (look that one up)
I was so flattened by the officer who gave me his book. It is a treasured momento of my travels but now as I'm getting older, I want to share all my things with the world.
I have translated (I speak a little Chinese after visiting many times) and here is what I can repeat.
1) "Chairman Zhe Ming has kind words.".
2) "As Mingzhui Youngmaa said..."
3) "& 4) The protagonist has nice words to listen to"

The pages feel and look like parchment, but are probably of low quality paper , BUT, maybe not, they have survived all these decades (57 years) quite an antique.
This is a real part of history as the era of Mao is gone and now... well y ou fill in that blank
