Dicalcium phosphate   is the inorganic compound with the formula CaHPO4   with a molar mass of 136.06 g/mol

It is sparinghly soluble in water :   0.002g in 100ml at 20°C.

sed as a leavening agent in bakery products with a high set temperature such as cake and muffin mixes with high sugar contents

Dicalcium phosphate can be used for fortification as a calcium and/or phosphorus source in a wide variety of foods and beverages .

It is often used  as a slow release calcium source for internal gelation of hydrocolloids
