QUANTITY:  ONE telephone lineman's butt set insulated / cloth-covered test leads.  Molded RJ11 connector on one end; polarized (black & red) rubber / silicone insulated alligator clips on the other (with drop wire spike, bed-of-nails and 66-series connecting block alligator clips).  Includes strain relief eyelet affixed to the leads' cloth cover.

COMPOSITION:  Polarized (red & black) rubber / silicone insulated alligator clips with bed-of-nails, drop wire spike and 66-series block clips.  Cloth covered leads.  RJ11 4/6 wire molded termination / connector.

DIMENSIONS:  The test leads measure 66” long and weigh 2.9 ounces (83 grams).

APPLICATIONS꞉  Great for testing POTS (plain old telephone service) circuits.  Because the test leads have alligator clips on one end and and a molded RJ11 termination on the other, you can also plug these leads into a standard telephone jack then use the alligator clips to connect the leads to your VOM.   RJ11 plug can be modified and used to test data circuits, fire alarm circuits, security circuits, LED low voltage lighting circuits, etc.  Because of the bed-of-nails and mini-spike, these test leads can be used to pierce the insulation on many types of wire to facilitate testing (without needing to cut and splice wires back together).  Rubber insulated alligator clips provide a degree of protection against shock.
