Description
Condition: New
It is already a thing of the past that it is difficult to handle because it has the performance to compete in the world racing scene. We are living in an era where hobby competition touring cars are needed that offer the latest specs in performance and are both fun and demanding. Driving performance has been perfected through repeated tests in top European races. While boldly refining the suspension and drive system, the development vision was always to create "usability" that would allow anyone to race. Flexible steering performance is brought out by a balance between rigidity and flexibility, and the latest suspension is constructed using a simple setting method, giving the driver a sense of security so they can concentrate on control.
The new touring car BD11 will be released for the 022 season. There has already been an amazing response from the preliminary information, and expectations from users are high.
It feels intense. While offering top-class performance, the main target is users who participate in stock races, and it is easy to handle and cost-effective.
It has a machine balance that combines high controllability.
The BD11's 5mm thick graphite suspension arm, which is highly rigid and durable, is a major feature, but by making the upper arm an I arm, the setting can be adjusted.
The suspension is easy to maneuver. We have already participated in top races in Europe and conducted durability tests in Japan, but the suspension arm was damaged.
There was no.
Another major feature, ATF (Active Top Deck Flex), is a flexible structure at the joint between the rear side of the upper deck and the rear bulkhead.
This is Yokomo's original mechanism that increases traction, especially around the rear, by making it flexible. Fixed to suit road conditions and driving style.
By changing the speed, it is possible to obtain the optimal traction balance. It can flexibly respond to changes in the road surface during races. The characteristic high-rigidity long suspension arm made of graphite is composed of a hybrid of resin and aluminum parts, reducing chassis roll and improving cornering speed. Durability has been confirmed through repeated tests, allowing you to attack corners with confidence. The kit is equipped with an RTC (rear toe control) system as standard. It is an essential item for modern race touring cars, as it can increase turning speed while increasing acceleration at corner exit. The front shock tower has undergone a dramatic shape change. By separating the left and right sides, the front area has more flexibility and a milder operating feel. We also plan to release parts that increase rigidity for driving on high-grip roads. The front double joint universal has also been newly designed, improving accuracy and durability. The stabilizer is also installed under the suspension arm to help lower the center of gravity. The upper deck also has a new shape to match the chassis flex settings. A stiffener can also be used on the front side, allowing the rigidity balance to be adjusted according to road conditions. The rear side of the upper deck is fixed with a post, but by holding the bearings and finely adjusting the clearance, the roll is set to move flexibly while maintaining pitching rigidity. The joint between the rear side of the upper deck and the bulkhead is Yokomo's original system, ATF (Active Top Deck Flex) supported by a roller pin with an O-ring in between. Rear traction is increased by maximizing chassis torsion. By changing the hardness of the O-ring or changing to a spacer, you can freely control the turning performance. The shaft guides of the front and rear shock absorbers have been newly designed to achieve even smoother operation.
