The 43rd Artillery Brigade is an artillery formation of the Ukrainian Ground Forces, based in Pereiaslav. On 3 November, 2022, they were awarded the battle honor "For Courage and Bravery" by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. By a 2020 decree, they are named after Taras Triasylo, a Hetman.
After the start of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, the brigade participated in battles in the Kyiv region, where the consumption of shells amounted to more than 100 pieces per artillery system per day. After the liberation of Kyiv region, the 43rd OABr took part in battles in the south, north-east and east of Ukraine, as well as in the Donetsk region. After that, it was redeployed to the Kharkiv region to participate in the Kharkiv counteroffensive operation, where the consumption of shells was about 50 pieces per artillery system per day. After successful actions during the Balaklia breakthrough, the unit began to perform tasks in the Donetsk region.
