Sculpey Texture Wheel

A rolling tool with interchangeable texture plates that press pattern into the surface of conditioned polymer clay. Roll it over a flattened sheet and you get consistent, repeating texture — the kind that would take much longer to achieve by stamping or hand tooling, and would vary more in depth and registration. The design works for both sheet texturing before cutting and applying texture to the surface of formed pieces before baking. Useful for adding pattern to backgrounds, creating scale or fabric effects on figurative work, and producing consistent results across multiple pieces in the same batch. Compatible with all Sculpey polymer clays. The wheel mechanism is straightforward and the plates swap out easily.
