Both belts replaced.  Powers on and plays.  All buttons seem to function normally.  Record function not tested.  Sometimes on first startup it will not start playing properly and the unit has to be powered off and on again for it to play (and it will start to feed the tape which leaves a loose loop).  I do not know how to fix this issue.

Also, there is a squeak which is normal for this device due to a sliding part that moves the play head into place after a tape is inserted.
