Vintage Antique tribal old silver necklace from Rajasthan India. Nice gajre design pendant re-string with cotton cord in traditional way. Silver pendant tied on bunched of hollo balls (gajre) rigidly fixed to the main body by threading a wire through their attached integral loops. This work is call moti ke gajre kam; the effect of bunching guchchedar. A silver ball bunch called chandi ke gajre ka guchchha. They are placed on bangles, bracelets, necklaces, pendants, earrings, belts and anklets. Handcrafted silver antique pendant used by the nomadic & "gypsy" tribes of Rajasthan. This pendant has a great raised design, gorgeous antique silver early 20th century. Original old worn piece in good condition with great antique look.
