Functioning as the head of a family of 7 brothers and sisters, Gerry is used to being the go-to guy to get family matters handled. When Jim, his estranged father of 20 years, shows up with a request to spend the holidays with the family, it is no easy feat for Gerry to address. Faced with old resentments, hurt feelings and anger, this is one family decision that won't be made easily, especially when his mother Rosie is adamant that Jim is never to set foot back into her home.
Trying not to choose sides, Gerry must find a way for them to reach a decision on whether or not to forgive and allow the holiday family reunion.
Christmas brings a mixed bag of complicated emotions and dynamics and the possibility for a new hope and forgiveness emerges. Rifts emerge among family members and old wounds are reopened but others are healed as the family deals with a difficult situation.
