Here we have a beautifully hand-crafted early 18th century ‘Queen Anne’ period [1702 -1714] sterling grade silver crown ring: The band is constructed form an inner solid silver shank with an outer applied filigree-trio ribbon and granulation freeze: The lower under-bezel is seen as a solid circular silver plate with a separating upper filigree rope decoration creating a 5 mm cased height: The upper external bezel is formed from a solid silver platform [circum at 25 mm], above which we see eighteen silver granulations: To the centre a raised silver finial decoration is formed from filigree and diamond-plate shaped freeze work:

Condition: Very / Extremely Fine: Quality sterling silver weight: 

This silver work is of the highest quality as pictured and the external surfaces have not been over-cleaned and as such excellent antique silver-oxide patination tones are observed: The finger band is ‘finger-oval’ is perfect and there are very few traces of external damage / wear:
