This will NOT work on Most Chevelle, Camaro and Corvette Chassis with Factory Frame Mounted Steering Box.
This power steering pump bracket will mount a stock-style GM power steering pump to a Big Block Chevy engine block. Bracket locates pump on the lower left side of the engine block and MUST be used with a short style water pump. Power steering bracket is made from 6061-T6 Billet Aluminum, and is designed to work with a pump that has a threaded pulley shaft, not a press-on style pulley. This type of pump was typical of those used on mid-size GM cars from about 1970-1982. Due to the variety of pulley configurations, it is likely that you will have to space the pump/bracket for exact belt alignment!!
Requires 1970-82 GM pump with threaded shaft.
