Great
for building a "DIY" Greenhouse; customizable Canopy for vehicle
storage; wedding tents, outdoor art shows, picnic, and flea/farmers' markets
tents. Temporary seasonal storage and protection from sun and rain.
Included in Kit:
ATTENTION: You must build a 18’x40’ frame for this valance tarp
to fit correctly!
*The high peak 120
degree 3-Way and 4-Way Powder Coated steel fittings have Inside Diameter
of 1-3/8" and are designed receive fence poles with an OD of 1-5/16".
*The Footpads provide
extra stability to your carports, tents, shade or garage. They are made of 16
gauge powder coated steel. With the foot pads attached to the legs of your
frame you will be protecting your investment from being carried away by heavy
wind.
*The heavy-duty
high-quality Ball Bungee Cords designed to securely hold Tarps to the
frame, have large plastic ball ends to prevent slipping. Made from high
quality rubber with woven cover for durability they help to prevent tarp from
tearing (provide some "flex" for wind gusts, absorb sudden jerks and
distribute the loading force between the grommets).
*The 20 x 40 Tarp is
12 mil super heavy duty none fire retardant. A 20' wide tarp is needed to
compensate for the 2' lost in the pitch of the canopy. It has the following
other features:
1. Super heavy duty with
triple water-resistant coating lamination
2. Aluminum Grommets at
the corners and perimeters
3. Poly roping in hem
all around and reinforced corners for extra strength
4. Water, mildew and UV
protected (all weather protection)
Not Included in
Kit: The required fence Poles for the legs, ridges and rafters.
Recommendations: For
the Legs, Ridges and Rafters Poles: Fence poles with an OD of 1-5/16" are
recommended (You will need to get them from your local hardware store).
FAQ: WHERE DO I GET
THE POLES?
A: POLE SELLERS
The poles required
are the galvanized steel fence post / pipes, that have equal diameter at both ends.
You want the 16G, or 17G, or 18G or 20G but not the 22G. If using any
gauge above 16G you may need to bore a hole on the footpads so you can tighten
it to the legs using bolt/nut if you reside in the very windy part of the USA.

Designed for a High Peak (120 degrees) canopy 1-3/8" A-frame.
In a High Peak A-frame setup 2' of the tarp are lost in the peak:
Tarp only, does not include frame or bungee ball ties.
Features:
****To provide some "flex" for
wind gusts and distribute the loading force between the eyelets it is
very
important to secure your tarp
using elastic bungee cords (not included). Securing tarps with
stiff non-flexible
connection methods might result in
tearing as the material cannot give in. ****
