1909 Siskiyou County California Print Article – Mt. Shasta Fish Hatchery & Phoebe Hearst’s Wyntoon
Castle Pix!
This 3-page pictorial article (printed
on two magazine pages) is the ORIGINAL - not a copy - and comes to you straight
out of the actual publication where it appeared back in the beginning of 1909. Titled
“Siskiyou the Golden”, the
article makes a pitch to people thinking about a move to Siskiyou County,
California and features great pictures, including the Mt. Shasta Fish Hatchery and
Phoebe Hearst’s Wyntoon Castle.
It would make an interesting (and fun!) conversation piece
framed and displayed in your home or office. You could add it to your current
collection, put it on display next to other related items, or use it as
a reference source for historical research, restoration work, etc. (and
would make a PERFECT GIFT for you-know-who!).
Measuring approximately 5 ¾ x 9 inches in size, the pictorial
article is not clipped nor cut – you get the whole 6 ¾ x 10 -inch pages. It
looks much better than the pictures, which were scanned from the actual,
original article you’ll receive (without the
AdZooks watermark, of course). The paper is clean, and free of rips, tears,
creases, stains, and mildew. It will be carefully packed up using a plastic
sleeve with a cardboard backer and shipped flat (not rolled!) to
ensure that this treasure arrives at its new home in excellent condition.
