Very rare silver drachm, Turco-Hephthalite lords of Bukhara in the name of the Abbasid caliph al-Mahdhi w/ "Bakh, bakh" (AD 775-785)
Size: 25 mm, 2.01 grams
Crowned bust of ruler right, under crown crescent with a dot. In front of the face Sogdian legend - "Bukharuhudar" ("King of Bukhara"), behind the head Arabic inscription "al-Mahdi". Two words "Bakh, bakh" instead of three dots under portrait (rare as such) / In the center of the coin altar with a head of Ahura Mazda to the right.  On both sides of the altar figures of attendants (mobeds).
