These after market heavy duty retractable stands are far superior to the original, especially in strength.
They attach directly to the frame, have a black epoxy finish and are simple to operate even when sitting on your machine!

From September 1977, BMW fitted a gear lever that pivoted on the footrest instead of fitting directly into the gearbox; if you have this type, please see FRA41599B (please note also, you can retrofit the later gear lever and linkage to an early bike by fitting that stand).
Please note you will need to remove your existing left hand footrest rubber and fit it to the Surefoot.
Alternatively new rubbers are available, our part no is FRA54650 for the early round style or FRA34660 for the rectangular.
