You can write on them and remove them easily too! One side is writable with a clear adhesive body to see the text underneath while the other side is paper-covered with plastic tabs that work with pens, pencils, markers. and highlighters. 

It has a longer tab with slimmer body that fits on the margin of books and journals without interfering with text. Each one is 3" x1.5" Inches. and they come in 12 per pack. Wonderfully useful for office buildings, schools, and the home.
