The Miracle Maker is a captivating novel based on the life of Jesus as seen through the eyes of Jairus daughter, Tamar. The beautiful and enchanting narrative breathes new insights into the Gospel stories and Tamar s retelling of the biblical account, with all the innocence and clarity of a child s perspective, makes the stories seem at once familiar and totally fresh.
At the heart of the novel is the figure of Jesus himself whose love and power radiates throughout the narrative and has its echoes in the delicate and yet emotionally charged portraits of Miryam the Mother of God, Mary Magdalene and the twelve disciples. Jesus is represented as healer and radical teacher touching the hearts and minds of all those who hear him and experience his charismatic personality. This extraordinary account of the life and death of the founder of Christianity will become a literary classic, at once faithful to to the biblical account yet a profound interpretation of its content for a contemporary readership. Now a stunning animated filmPlease note, the image is for illustrative purposes only, actual book cover, binding and edition may vary.
