Vtg Mini Persian Polo Game Painted Camel Bone Opelle Glass Heart Ornament Framed.
Bought at an estate sale. The owner obviously had the 2 items paired together in the frame to indicate a love of the country or the experience I think. The handpainted camel bone was presented to the former owner in 1978 on a trip from Iran and it states it was hand painted on bone (camel) by a single haired brush (typically cat hair). The heart ornament is made at the Corning Glass Museum by Jocquice? In 1986 and is part of the Opelle line. It pairs nicely together and makes a nice display in the frame. Each item itself appears quite delicate. The frame measures 9” by 7”. The camel bone measures about 4” long by 1.25” wide. The heart measures about 2” wide by 1.75” high. Excellent condition overall.
