This is a very distinctive pair of Scandinavian Sterling Silver Cuff Links. The rectangular cuff links are in a sculpted brutalist style with a textured ground and a sinuous ridge across the middle that is smooth and polished. They are in the bullet back style but have a flat oval plate rather than the more usual hinged bullet. They come supplied in their original box.

The cuff links were made by silversmith Susanne Hingelberg in Bindslev, Denmark for the high end retailer Jarly of Viborg in Denmark. Hingelberg was active between 1975 and 1992 with these cuff links likely to date to the late 1970s or early 1980s.

Condition is extremely good with just the most minimal superficial surface wear that you would expect with use and the passage of time. Please make sure to view all the photographs as these form part of the description.

Each cuff link is 2.1cm by 1.4cm and 2.2cm to the oval back. The pair weighs in at a very respectable 12.4g of solid Sterling Silver.

The shank of each cuff link is stamped 925S for Sterling Silver (925/1000 grade) and S H for jeweller and silversmith Susanne Hingelberg.
