Miguel Angel Peñate, renowned Cuban engraver and founder of the Association of Cuban Engravers, participated in the First National Engraving Salon on themes of the Revolution at the National Museum of Fine Arts, Cuba, in 1960. He also took part in the historic exhibition held at the museum itself in 1989, "Association of Cuban Engravers 1949-1968." He has created appropriations of museum artworks for postage stamp issuance.

Known for his lithographic works, this piece from a limited edition, signed by the author, faithfully showcases his mastery of engraving techniques.

Miguel Angel Peñate, reconocido grabador cubano, fundador de la Asociación de Grabadores de Cuba, participó en el Primer Salón Nacional de Grabado, sobre temas de la Revolución, en Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes, Cuba, en 1960. Así como en la histórica muestra realizada en el propio Museo en 1989, ¨Asociación de Grabadores de Cuba 1949-1968¨.Ha realizado apropiaciones de obras del Museo para la emisión de sellos postales.

 Se reconoce por sus obras en Litografías, esta pieza de una edición limitada, firmada por el autor, resume fielmente su dominio en las técnicas del grabado
