VTG Ashanti head rest, intricately carved; Man holding wooden pillow.  These head rests were traditionally used by the tribal elite and by women to protect elaborate hair styles by keeping the head raised. This vintage piece is in excellent condition, with minor signs of use/wear as shown in photos. 

This headrest measures approx. 14" long and is 5" tall.  See photos for condition and detail of this piece of art.
