PROTO 4712T  USA made 3/8" SOCKET  1/4" drive,   12 POINT.  This tool was purchased at a gov. surplus sale.    There could be some engraving and/or other exterior scratches or blemishes, etc  SEE  Pics for an accurate example of its condition.   Slight visible signs of wear  see pic.  Most of these tools don't have any wear. Those that do are very slight.

 FYI -- GRIND MARKS OR ENGRAVING come about when the gov. issues a tool, it is engraved with some numbers by the person it is issued to.  Usually Before the tool is sold by the government the numbers are ground off, making grind marks.
