Reginald (Ripp) Hatcher Smith (10/23/1939 - 6/21/2020) from Asheville, NC was a sculptor and artist and a major contributor to the I AM HOME Art Community, a non-profit that provides free art supplies for homeless artists. 

Ripp held four degrees – two undergraduates, in philosophy (Georgetown U) and sculpture (University of the Arts), and two graduate degrees, in computer science (James Madison U) and urban planning (Cornell U).
