Stitched with FR aramid thread. Shatterproof FR melamine buttons. NFPA 2112 certified. NFPA 70E compliant. HRC 2 with ATPV: 8.7 cal/cm2. ASTM F1506 compliant. Meets requirements of OSHA 1910.132 and OSHA 1910.269. **NOTE: FR (flame-resistant) garments are light weight breathable protection that is mainly used for light welding, cutting, and grinding. 'Flame-resistant' means when a spark(s) lands on the garment, the garment will extinguish itself (it won’t continue to burn) and sometimes the spark can create a hole on the garment.
