Up for sale today is vintage pottery purchased at an estate sale in West Texas. Today is Pottery from Johnson Brothers in the Old Britain Castles Brown pattern. The pattern is a brown transferware depicting "Old Britain Castles" with a floral band. This particular piece shows The Kenilworth Castle in 1792. Backstamp shows the Johnson Brothers’ Crown Johnson Bros MADE IN ENGLAND Old Britain Castles, production beginning in 1930. NOTE: This is a 5 3/4" wide saucer with a 2 1/4" tall cup.
