The 10 matching fabric covered buttons with loops are non-functional; the 21" zipper with top hook are the dress's closures. The shoulder pads can be easily removed; only tacked in.

The front of the tunic from approx. waist down has exquisite raised embroidery with seed pearls scattered about.

Clean.  Pls. note:  I live in NE and have a fairly new wood burning stove operating during the winter season.  Although, I have no complaints of home smelling of smoke (no cigarette smokers), I could be immune to any smokiness, so please keep that in mind when purchasing a clothing item, which could filter in smoke particles (item far from wood burning stove); have air purifier machine on, but no guarantees.  Again, I scent-test all garments, but may not pick up any smoke scent prior to shipping.
