New clutch cable to suit Scimitar SS1 1300 / 1400 / 1600, SST 1400 and Sabre 1400 (with Ford CVH or Rover K Series engine as they both use the Type 9 gearbox)
Theses cables are purpose made in the UK to our own specification to ensure proper clutch action and a usable range of adjustment. They are NOT a part common to any other vehicle, some sources will tell you that the cables from other (Ford) vehicles are the same, but the lengths of inner and outer cable are different overall and in relation to each other. The SS1 may be built with Ford running gear, but the pedal box is Reliant's own arrangement. Fitting the wrong cable will lead to having a clutch that doesn't have any available adjustment or enough travel to disengage the clutch fully.
