This is a replacement and not the original OEM made by control-4 - 

This power supply has more Watts, unlike the normal one this one can provide up to 25% more  For most normal users this is overshooting and you can buy the normal one we listed however if you are heavy user this is the one for you 

 Simple installation but includes cutting the wire and connecting it to the new PSB

For repairs by replacing of dead PSB in matrix switches 

If your unit is dead or if you know that your power board is defective, you will need to upgrade to the new expensive matrix switches >$1000

but if you are short, you can replace the power supply at your matrix and most probably get a few more years of service be advice that this PS will provide power as needed but it is not identical to the one that failed on you.

installation will take 30-45 min  and include disconnecting the defective PS and installing the replacement including connecting the power wire in and out if you are little handy this is for you

why upgrade for $1000 or $2000 when you can get the same old good service for few more years

 This is not direct replacement as you will need to add ground wire and connect wires to the PSB . 

  but it is relatively simple.

"Cut/clip the wire close to the Power supply   Disconnect both connectors, one is the input (high voltage 110 or 120  or 220 ) and one is the supply output (low voltage). They just unclip or cut. and unscrew the 4 screws that secure the power supply to the base of the enclosure. expose ¼” of each end of the wire  then you reconnect.
