B & W original photo
---------
finished photo authentically signed (not printed) Signed Eden Gray "St Joan" 1928. Rather odd in that she never appeared in that play which was long running and well known in the 1920s.,

Eden Gray (1901-1999) was an actress, known for the films Lovers in Quarantine (1925), The Man Who Lost Himself (1941) and A Kiss in the Dark (1925). She also appeared in many theatrical performances in the 1920s. But Ms. Gray had a curiosity that led her life in several directions. During World War II, she put her acting career on hold to become a lab technician with the Women's Army Corps and later, she earned a doctorate of divinity degree from the First Church of Religious Science in New York. During the 1950s, she opened a bookstore, Inspiration House Publishing, which sold books on occult and metaphysical issues. During the same time, she wrote "Tarot Revealed," an introductory work to the tarot.
