Luis Enrique Camejo Vento was born on January 19, 1971 in Pinar del Rio, Cuba. He studied at the Art School of Pinar del Rio, at the National School of Art of Havana City and at the Higher Institute of Art of Havana City. Since 1996, he has been working as a professor of painting at the Higher Institute of Art.
This work was made at the René Portocarrero Serigraphy Workshop located on Cuba Street, between Teniente Rey and Muralla. Old Havana.
Belonging to the Genesis Art Galleries Company, the René Portocarrero Serigraphy Workshop has been working for more than three decades.
In the 1980s it became -in its own right- a true generator of cultural projects that had a great impact on Cuban cultural life.
Simultaneously to the production of works in the serigraph technique, a program of exhibitions, events and activities related to the visual arts is developed in its spaces.

Luis Enrique Camejo Vento nació el 19 de enero de 1971 en Pinar del Río, Cuba. Estudió en la Escuela de Arte de Pinar del Río, en la Escuela Nacional de Arte de Ciudad de la Habana y en el Instituto Superior de Arte de Ciudad de la Habana. Desde 1996, trabaja como profesor de pintura en el Instituto Superior de Arte.
Esta obra fue realizada en el Taller de Serigrafía René Portocarrero ubicado en la calle Cuba, entre Teniente Rey y Muralla. La Habana Vieja.
Perteneciente a la empresa Génesis Galerías de Arte, el Taller de Serigrafía René Portocarrero lleva más de tres décadas de trabajo.
En los años ochenta se convirtió -por derecho propio- en un verdadero generador de proyectos culturales de gran impacto en la vida cultural cubana.
Simultáneamente a la producción de obras en la técnica serigráfica, se desarrolla en sus espacios un programa de exposiciones, eventos y actividades relacionadas con las artes visuales.
