This lovely Villeroy & Boch "Amapola" pattern flat cup and saucer (set of 2) were manufactured between the years 1981 and 2001 and then it was retired.

All of the pieces are from my own family's brand new purchases, not yard or estate sales, and come from a smoke-free home.

These are in used condition, free of chips, flea bites, crazing, or any major surface wear. Only light evidence of normal wear.

My mom purchased many of the Amapola set and displayed it on her large china cabinet for many, many years.  They are in good pre-owned condition, she used some of the pieces on a few special occasions, but always put them back to display.  They have all been packed away for many years at my home and now it is time for them to go to a new home.

I also have the dinner plates, soup plates, salad plates, the covered sugar & creamer set, the serving bowl, the cheese cutting board, the quiche/pie/tart/flan fluted dish, among other pieces, which I will be listing on separate listings.  If you don't see it yet, please let me know which one you are interested in and I will list it right away.

Spanish for "poppy," the Amapola flower is a gorgeous flower which is rendered beautifully in the Amapola dinnerware pattern by Villeroy & Boch, first produced in 1981, which looks gorgeous on any table on any occasion, and it displays beautifully in your china cabinet.

These will be carefully individually wrapped and packed in a proper box so as to reach your home just as they left mine.

Other than what I have disclosed above, it is in great shape.  There are no chips, cracks, scratches, crazing or discoloration.
