The SHONAN eye screws are made of stainless steel 304, and they won't get rust for indoor or outdoor uses.

Pre-drill a pilot hole makes it much easier to install the eye screw and prevents possible damage. The drill bit size should be equal to or smaller than 1/4 inches to leave the threads to do their job.
