Nigerian Languages:  Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow  These are the Proceedings of the Twentieth Year Commemorative Symposium of the Centre for the Study of Nigerian languages, Bayero University, Kano, Nigeria, and were edited by Abba Rufái.  Paperback, published by the Centre in 1991.  This copy is in very good condition with clean & unmarked text, tight binding, uncreased spine, and minimal wear to the cover. There is slight damage to the upper corner of the front cover and pages towards the beginning of the book which is a bit hard to characterize - perhaps a small bit of the tips of the corners were torn off?

We recently acquired several hundred linguistic books which we will be listing as time permits over the next several months. Most relate to languages in Africa, Asia, and South & Central America.  Many of the topic languages are not widely spoken and the books are hard to find.  Several dozen have no other copies currently available for purchase; these and many other books with limited availability have no records of recent sales.  The research has been fun though!  If these books are of interest and you are looking for something on a specific language or dialect, please message us and we will tell you if we have something. We also suggest bookmarking us and checking back periodically to see newly listed items.
