  Loose Trousers formed in the late 70s out of the ashes of Canberra band The Ritz. Mushroom signed the band they released one single 'Football Star' in 1978. Popular in Melbourne, they virtually disappeared overnight. Drummer Bill McDonough ended up joining Australian Crawl. Richard Hauser died in 2018.
