On this listing we offer the PA-Driver Service Kit, which allows to repair your beloved IC-7400 or IC-746PRO transceivers.

It replaces the original RF PA-DRIVER board with the kit's parts shown on the first picture.

  • a pair of RD15 transistors (mounted on the MOD7400DRV board),
  • a heat-sink adapter (aluminum washer) with a bit of of silicon paste.
  • Electronic copy (pdf document) of "Step-By-Step" repair manual.

Installation notes:

A set of screwdrivers, tweezers, precise soldering station / PCB rework tools and a good soldering experience are required to install these kit. It is very hard (however possible and recommended) to replace the original PA driver board without disassembling of the whole PA board. It is required to adjust to bias current for the radio after installation. Some useful hints about this procedure will be send to customers after the purchase.
