Single-component high-performance thick black adhesive.
No mixing!  Solvent based - no activator required! 
I use glass bottles to maintain product quality.
Requires heat curing for its special perfomance: withstands temperatures up to 600F (316C).

NOTE: after application, Hernon® VCB360 must be HEAT CURED for full high-temp resistance (Oven Bake 30 minutes at 400F - the technical data sheet which is supplied with the product has full instructions in ENGLISH). Tack-free after 30 seconds at 180F.   However - this product does NOT require heat curing for regular bonding!

Product Description:

Hernon® Voice Coil Bonder 360 is a single component, black, HEAT CURE adhesive formulated for bonding and coating voice coil components and high temperature lamination.  The cured bond withstands temperatures exceeding 600ºF (316ºC).

This is a fairly thick product. It can be thinned with pure solvents: Methyl Ethyl Ketone or Acetone (not included, caution solvents are flammable.)

Note: thinning solvents must be PURE (household solvents are often diluted with water). Wire and forms must be CLEAN and free of all oils before application of VCB 360.


Typical Applications :
 
- Bond metallic items that require high-temp resistance (items must be clamped and then heat-treated)
- Coat Aluminum, copper-clad and copper wire voice coils
- Coat voicecoil forms - materials including DuPont Kapton® H, HN, HPPST and MTB, fiberglass composite, aluminum and Nomex®.   Kapton® & Nomex® are registered trademarks of DuPont.
