JACKPOT starring JON GRIES, GARRETT MORRIS, DARAYL HANNAH

Color       Running time approximately 100 minutes

JACKPOT is the refreshingly original, stylish follow-up film from directors / writers Mark and Michael Polish (Twin Falls Idaho) starring Jon Gries (Men In Black) and Garrett Morris (TV's Saturday Night Live). Supported by a stellar ensemble cast, including Daryl Hannah, Peggy Lipton, Crystal Bernard, Mac Davis, and Anthony Edwards, and an eclectically original soundtrack,  JACKPOT is part road trip, part buddy movie and all heart.

Sunny Holiday (Gries) is a singer who dreams of one day making it big. Accompanied by his manager Lester (Morris), he hits the road to compete in a string of karaoke contests. Hoping to get the exposure and the money they need to make it in show business, the duo heads west to Jackpot, Nevada, hitting every saloon and bar, along the way. Each stop means a new contest that will potentially take them closer to fame and fortune, and further from the past they've left.

Jackpot, Nevada is a town one hundred miles south of Twin Falls, Idaho. But "Jackpot" also means the payout of a slot machine-wealth without effort. For Sunny Holiday, the pathway to success is to become a country western singer. Abandoning his beautiful wife Bobby (Daryl Hannah) and their young baby, he sets off with his manager Lester on a nine-month, forty-three-city tour through a series of bleak westerns towns.
