FIFTEEN WESTERN TALES, Vol. 28 #4 published bi-monthly by Popular Publications, Inc. This July 1954 issue features fifteen complete stories including, "The Gundown Trail" by Richard Ferber. See scans for a complete Table Of Contents. This pulp magazine is in GD/VG condition (see grading explanation). It is complete, has front and back covers. The 114 pages are yellowed on the open edges, but are in good condition. The front cover has some wear and tear with pen/pencil markings (see scan). Will combine purchases to reduce shipping costs.
Grading: This is a low-grade item. The story will be complete and readable, but will show significant wear. Allowed defects for this grade include: spine roll, a moderate amount of staining or water damage, writing or other marks on the cover, up to one inch spline splits or other tears, a cover or center-fold that is detached at one staple, discoloration due to oxidation, and a minor piece or pieces missing. An item could be assigned to this grade due to either an accumulation of minor/moderate defects or one or two major defects.
