Story behind the art:

Cedar wood originating from the Moroccan coastal town of Essaouira, renowned for its talented carpenters. The exotic cedar, native to the Middle Atlas Mountains, has been used for centuries by Moroccan wood craftsmen. The "burls" of cedar wood, the gnarled growths of the trunk or branches, produce beautiful and interesting wood grains that make each piece truly unique. The wonderful aroma of thuya wood lasts for years. Our cedar wood pieces have been handcrafted by our workshop, close to the source of cedar wood in Essaouira, and renowned for its talented carpenters.

The artisanal touch of craftsmanship creates variations in color, size and design. If you buy two items of the same item, slight differences are to be expected.
