This face pendant is of Olmec origin.  The Olmecoid face shape is carved out of high quality translucent jade.  Note the pictures with back lighting that demonstrate it's translucent properties.  The skillfully carved piece depicts eyes nose mouth ect.  The back is drilled through indicating it was likely worn as a pendant.  Beautiful artifact.
