Batik is a traditional process of coloring textile through a series of waxing and dyeing. The process involves covering the areas of cloth which are not to be dyed with melted wax through the 'tjanting' or 'stamping' process ; the wax is later removed by immersion in boiling water. An exquisite batik piece is then hand painted with special care and attention given to the application of both design and color. Batik is a unique and exotic form of art. If you love creativity and appreciate beauty, batik is for you. It is an art form known and practiced almost all over the world.

Like any other handmade batiks, there may be occasional slight smearing of color and irregularity which adds to its uniqueness. There may also be some remaining wax and wax smell which is washable. Due to camera, lighting and electronic screen limitation, the colors might be slightly different from the actual.

There are many discrepancies between sizing systems for different countries and it is not a good idea to buy clothes based solely on these conversions guidelines.

To determine whether you prefer your clothes to be snug, loose or fit, please prefer to the actual measurement by Chest, Waist & Hip measurement that are found in all my product descriptions.

With this actual measurement provided, you should then measure yourself for your personal preferences.


For all garments that are full with embroidery, sewn with sequins & beads, we recommend only hand washing in cold water. Rinse in cold water and hang to dry. Do not bleach. Do not spin dry.

For regular garments, we propose machine was in cold water on a delicate cycle. Do not spin dry.

For Batik Sarong, Pareo, Beaded Pareo and all Tiedye are heavily saturated with dye in the production, you can expect some dye to bleed during washing process (but this will not affect the original color of the garment), Wash separately for the initial few times. For the first wash, let it soak for about 15 mins in cold water mix with 1 tablespoon of ordinary salt. Rinse in cold water and hang to dry.
