This is REPRODUCTION re-print of the 1970,s according to someone on ebay.... so I have changed my description and price accordingly... colour poster from the WWII era. It is a recruitment poster which reads
Join the Wrens as part of the Women's Royal Naval Service.
And Free A Man for the Fleet at the bottom.
Someone has defaced this poster in red permanent marker that reads
"Up with the Lark - To Bed with a Wren".
The poster has been folded and creased. The corners and edges are worn. There are some mucky marks on her face and on the back - looks like coffee stains.
Please see pictures for details and visual confirmation of condition.
It measures approx. 22 and 1/2 inches x 14 and 1/2 inches.

Scale is usually an English 1 penny coin which is 20mm in diameter which is just short of 7/8ths of an inch in diameter, or a universal Coke can, and we all know how big those are.
