Please Note - whilst every effort is made to ensure orders are made up of the same dye lots for each colour shade, in some rare instances this is not always possible.  
If the same dye lot is imperative to your project, please contact me before ordering to confirm.  

Delivery Information


  • Fast dispatch and delivery
  • Pay one maximum postage fee across my shop.  Postage fees will automatically combine.   
  • Items sent by Royal Mail 2nd Class/48 as standard - estimated delivery 2-3days after dispatch
  • Upgrade available to Royal Mail 1st Class/24 for a small fee.  Estimated delivery 1-2days after dispatch
  • Orders over 2kg in weight may be sent via a separate, tracked courier service at our discretion.

We are proud to offer a fast dispatch service and the majority of orders arrive within the estimated time frames. However, please be aware that Royal Mail delivery times may vary due to reasons beyond our control.

Please note - small orders may be vacuum packed into a letterbox size package.

This process does not affect or damage the products in any way.

Once you have received the item and opened the vacuum pack, the yarn will spring back to its original form.

  • The Yarn Sprite is a family run online yarn shop based in the North West of England.  Our products include a variety of yarn & wool plus tools and accessories to make and finish off your projects.  

  • Returns are accepted up to 30days, please contact me to arrange this prior to sending anything back.  Items will only be refunded if they are returned unused and in a sellable condition unless defective.  Patterns are not included in the returns policy.

  • I am always here to help - if you have any questions at all, please feel free to ask away and I will do my best to help.

  • All products sold are items which I as a crafter would use myself.  I will not sell anything I would not be happy to use or recommend.

  • Most orders are dispatched within 24hours, Monday - Friday.
