Superb oil on canvas "NATURE MORT AVEC CHAT", from around 1900, by French artist Ismael Adolphe Clavel (19th/20th century), signed lower right, titled to gallery label verso. This painting is exquisite as it is a beautiful light coloured detailed painting. The details are incredible, you can see the hairs and the reflection in the eyes of the cat. A very fine example of late 19th early 20th century European still life painting. A high value painting, directly from a high class private estate. Signed lower right.
