The MK Toughplug is the number one UK mains plug for audiophile applications. It is a substantially constructed plug and will accommodate a wide variety of cable types and thicknesses. The plug requires a slight amount of modification to accept some cables but remains the number one choice for the majority of cable sellers and DIY.
The plug we have for sale has been extensively silver plated by one of our sub-contractors to an exceptionally high standard, silver is the best conductor known to man and is used to improve conductivity of electrons, the quality of our plating is well known as customers return for more. We have a white paper available called Conductivity of Metals for Hi-Fi and Further Technical Info. which gives additional information about the different metals used for hi-fi plugs and connectors and the plating process.
At Mains Cables R Us we pay attention to every detail to ensure all our plugs and connectors offer the best possible performance for the money. We remove all the screws from each plug and have them plated separately so when re-assembled there are no parts of the screws or plug pins un-plated. The fuse holder, and all pins are plated to ensure the plug does the job properly. After plating has been done we polish each pin by hand for the ultimate attention to detail. All MCRU's EBAY orders are sent using royal mail, or DPD local couriers. We accept full responsibility if items are lost in transit and will dispatch replacements if a problem occurs. We try to be fair and realistic with postal times and charges and do respectfully request that customers are realistic with their expectations on delivery times.
Everything we sell can be returned within 14 days under the distance selling regulations, we do not refund postage there or back as we would hope problems can be resolved prior to the item being returned, please feel free to contact us prior to returning anything so we can try to resolve any issues you may have.
